Powder Blue

I was listening to Ween's 12 Golden Country Greats in the car on the way to work. It's a great album that's really grown on me, I must say.

Anyway, song six, Powder Blue, has a bit where he introduces the band, then says, "Ladies and Gentlemen, Mohamad Ali". Now in the version I've, uh, previously borrowed, there's a sampled quote from Mr. Clay, and then a minute more of song. On this disc, the song simply ends there, which would be clever, except I've heard the original.

What happened?

I can only assume it's some sort of copyright infringement thing, but here's the rub. This isn't the disc I wanted to purchase. As far as I'm concerned, I thought I was purchasing one thing, and ended up purchasing something of less value. Imagine buying the next Harry Potter novel, only to find that pages 350-375 were missing. What would you do?

I want the correct copy of the CD. I'm guessing I won't be able to get that (except maybe used), so I'll settle for my money back.

Let's see where this takes us.

Edit:
Well, it's not as exciting as I hoped. It looks like they might have pressed these shortened versions first, adding the quote once they secured the rights. Sigh. Now I need to find a newer version of the disc.
